Unity

Unity

Proud Mindset. Pride Community.

Unity began in 2017 as a show of support and a catalyst for change, raising awareness for inclusivity and social justice.

In its latest iteration, Unity celebrates Pride Month. Its design — inspired by individual expression and collective communities — integrates with its goal of recognizing and celebrating LGBTQ+ rights, with all profits donated to the ACLU.

Everyone has the right to experience this sport, be part of this community, and ride alongside fellow cyclists. Our differences create a better world for cycling and recognizing this fact will only lead to more inclusive and diverse future rides.

Supporting the ACLU

The American Civil Liberties Union is 1.1 million members strong — all with the goal of defending individual freedoms.

Since 2020, over 100 state laws attacking transgender rights have passed. A record number of legislative actions effecting the LGBTQ+ community have advanced.

Now more than ever, support is needed. Support at the local level, on community rides and competitive races. And support at the national level, fighting legal battles for the right to live openly, without discrimination.

Create Community

Create Community

This year, Unity celebrates Pride. But it's also more focused than that. It specifically celebrates differences. All of our different backgrounds, expressions, and ethnicities blend together to create a community that is greater for it. Photo to the left and below by Sydney Lewis

Voices Within Cycling

We are always striving to empower important voices within the cycling community. With the athletes we support and the events we're involved in, down to the design of this year's Unity jersey and our donation to the ACLU.

Two such voices are Maddy Nutt and Joshua Strong.

Joshua Strong

Joshua Strong

Joshua Strong approaches every event with determination to compete for the podium. They also fully embrace the role of a non-binary athlete, not just lifting their own results, but working to bring the entire community up with them.

Maddy Nutt

Maddy Nutt

Maddy Nutt left a life in London finance to chase her cycling career and immediately found a home in women's cycling, first in London, and later on the international stage.

The Jersey

The Unity pattern is printed on our ONE Jersey — a jersey defined by versatility, community, and mid-distance rides. It's the go-to for the quick lunch escape, the after-work shop ride, or the pre-breakfast spin.

Companions

Unity and ONE are a natural pairing, resulting in a jersey that is designed for every rider, and supports the important causes that lift up the cycling community as a whole.
