(Re)Building Molini
Alberto “Albi” Andreoli puts his hometown of Molini, Italy, on the map

Albi knows every root, rock, and ridgeline along the trails of Molini. He’s been exploring the entire network since he was a little kid, and rebuilt a chunk of the infrastructure after devastating floods. Now, he spends his days maintaining and riding, while inviting riders from around the world to sample everything Molini has to offer.

"[Albi has] a heart full of joy and passion. He is such a lovely dude, liked by everyone and sticks to his roots."

In 2021, Albi founded Molini MTB as a way to share the town he grew up in and the trails he first explored as a kid. He’s created a life around riding and caring for the land, revitalizing the mountain paths that have been passed down through generations of Molini residents.
For half the year, Albi’s Molini MTB crew dedicates its time to maintaining and expanding the trail network. It’s this balance that dictates Albi’s daily rhythm: dig, ride, aperitif. A hometown ritual he’s more than happy to share.

Albi’s time in Molini started much earlier than his Molini MTB business. He was born in the valley, and spent his childhood venturing into the woods and exploring the surrounding wilderness. This early love for his hometown only grew when he began riding that same terrain and working with other locals to shape forgotten paths into world-class trails.
By 2020, Albi had poured countless hours into trail maintenance around Molini. Then the world changed: Covid shut down travel, and a devastating flood tore apart much of the area’s infrastructure, including the trails.
Albi didn’t let this slow him down though. He got back to work on the trails, and continued to advocate for riders from all over the world to come and experience his home.
"All the fixing that we did after the flood, day after day, until today — that is still developing, hopefully in the best way."

"[Albi's] a frother. Yeah he loves it. He wants to show everyone as much as he can of the valley"
