Who Is Kera Linn?
Kera Linn didn't touch a mountain bike until she was 24. She moved to Utah one year later, and quickly became a staple on the national DH and enduro scene.

Kera Linn did what most people just dream about doing. After her first ride on a full suspension bike in Utah, she quit her job, moved to the mountains, and started riding every day.
Brash decision? Not for Kera. She parlayed that life change into a successful enduro and DH racing career, finding support from the likes of Cannondale, SRAM, Rockshox, and now Velocio.
Kera cares about riding her bike, spending time within her tight-knit community, living sustainably, and riding her bike some more. It's no wonder Velocio is such a good fit.

Who is Kera Linn?
Just a Midwest girl chasing the mountain bike dream. Very thankful for all the opportunities and amazing places I've gotten to go to.
Where are you from?
I grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. But since 2018, when I moved, I have been living/traveling all over the West in a van, and now primarily in Santa Cruz, CA.
How did mountain biking find you?
I was 24, wrapping up my last season of competitive water skiing, when a teammate brought a mountain bike along to our last event in Blaine, Washington. I had never heard of mountain biking and was instantly hooked! I always wanted a dirtbike, and this didn't feel far off. When I got home from that trip, I bought a $500 hardtail and started riding the local Iowa singletrack. Within a year, I left my job and moved to the Utah mountains.
What led you to racing?
I've competed in several sports since I was a kid. I don't think I've ever played a sport without taking it to competition. So when I started mountain biking, I immediately signed up for the Iowa XC series and then planned my move to Utah around the Utah Downhill series. I love racing because it pushes me to be a better rider, and the better I get, the more fun it is!

What are some of the highlights of your racing career so far?
Winning the Big Mountain Enduro overall in 2021 and racing a couple Enduro World Series races in Europe stand out. Caravanning with friends to all the races in North America and racing down new trails is the highlight for me!
What drew you to Velocio?
Quality products that look good on and off the trail, and the women's fit is spot on. I also enjoy dropbar riding, so it's great to ride for a company that has both mountain bike and dropbar clothing.
What are your plans for this year?
A five-month road trip in the van, racing both downhill and enduro in North America, and dabbling in some freeride events. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to find the next best place to ride bikes with friends!
